Pathfinders was provided a temporary license to begin Alcohol and Drug treatment in December of 2010, and we began our first A & D Living In Freedom Today (LIFT) treatment cohort. The group was made up of women who were eligible for the Alternative Incarceration Plan, as well as those with a high cognitive treatment need. They graduated from the program in June, 2011.  LIFT received its first audit in June, as well, and was provided a one year licensure.
Pathfinders will continue to look for opportunities to expand treatment services both within the Department of Corrections and in the community, as so many of our clients have treatment needs.
